I am a Technology Navigator and also the Lower School Computer Science Specialist at the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
There is so much effective (and not so) technology available to my teachers and students to use, that I have made it my purpose to make sure that the technology used is effective for the user. With proper research and inquiry, a student, regardless of age, can utilize the technology as an effective tool for communication, collaboration and cooperation.
Most recently, I gave an IGNITE presentation on opening day of at ISTE this year. I have presented at past ISTE and FETC. Locally, I have led seminars for heads of school, various community organizations and of course all those PD days for my faculty.
I started my EdTech career at East Lyme High School. 20 years later I have been given the honor to present alongside my EdTech Super Heroes!!!
